I am a traveller.
I view myself as a citizen of the world. I hold a US Passport but enjoy being an ex-pat even more. Experiencing new places, people, cultures, religions, perspectives and cuisines are the lifeblood of my happy-feet existence.
I am a learner.
One of my favorite phrases in life is “Every Day is a School Day”. If I haven’t learned something today, I’ve lost an opportunity to expand the mind and understand the world around me more intimately.
I am a recorder.
I am attached deeply to my camera and I am a writer. So, here I am, ablogging about my new adventure in South East Asia. My life is recorded digitally as well as on a frequent basis in a never-ending stack of Moleskine notebooks.
I am blessed.
I am in my early 40s and have enjoyed a full, amazing life and one with the adventure and travel I crave. I hope that my experiences and perspectives will come through in the material contained herein and be of use to some of you.
I encourage all readers to contact me. I would love to know what you think and hear your stories as well.
All the best,
WanderlustMike
